Canadian Blog Awards

Hi everyone! Well the first round results are in and, although Thoughts2Page won't be advancing to the final round of voting, I'm really thrilled with the results all the same. Thank you SO much to all of you who voted! This is my first year of blogging and was the first time I've been nominated for an award. I'm happy to share the results: In the "Best New Blog" category, Thoughts2Page finished 14th out of 60 nominees ... very cool :) In the "Best Humour Blog" category, the finish was 9th out of 27 nominees ... again, very cool :) The Weblog Awards 2005 are up next but, for those awards, the folks running the show decide on the finalists for each category and there is only one round of voting. I guess I'll keep you posted IF there's any news there ;) Again, thanks to all of you for supporting my blog. Your words of encouragement, your emails AND your votes mean the world to me. I'll keep writing and I hope you all will keep reading! Elaine
