Renovation Carol #2

Elaine's carol #2: "Living here in Renovation Land"
Sung to the tune of "Walking in a Winter Wonderland"

Jigsaws buzzzzzzz

Can you hear them?
In the yard
Junk appears, then
We pray it won’t snow, before it can go,
Living here in renovation land

All around
There is saw dust
Under foot, you hear glass bust
We hope and we pray it’ll be done today
Living here in renovation land

In the basement
they'll install some plumbing
Then we'll decide that we need much more room
They’ll say are you crazy, making changes,
When we can move around the floor with just a BROOM?!

Later on
We’ll conspire
As we debate
Setting fire
To the work that’s been done
Just how fast can we run
Away from hell in renovation land?!?
